Confessions of a Sopaholic. Maybe some of you still remember with that movie title, starring Isla Fisher and Hugh Dancy. It's a romantic comedy about a girl called Rebecca Bloomwood. She got a sopaholic syndrome, she loves shopping and she can not control herself when shopping especially if there is a massive sale. This 'crazy' behavior of spending with more than one credit card make her unable to pay her credit card bills. So she have to deal and being chased by debt collectors. This kind of thing is not only happening in the movie but also in the real world.

If right now you're feeling so blessed^^ because of your credit card application is finally approved, well you should be more ware. Because if you are not wise to use these magical cards, you could be trapped in credit card debt just like Rebecca Bloomwood.

Here are some tips you need to know to avoid credit card debt:

-Have Only One Credit Card
Have 2 or more credit cards may look cool when you open the wallet right? But for beginners credit card user I suggest to have one credit card. So it will be easier to control.

-Credit Card Are Not a Substitute for Cash
Remember, credit card is not a substitute for cash. If you have enough money to pay cash you should not use your credit card.

-Full-Paying Bills
Try to pay off the bill each month. If not, your purchase will be more expensive than the purchase price due to the interest add.

-Avoid Impulsive Spending
If currently you don't have enough money to buy something, doesn't mean you have to use your credit card. Ask yourself about the item, is it want or need?

-Avoid Cash Advance
"Throttle Neck" is the right word to describe your load if you are desperate to do a credit card cash withdrawals. There will be an administrative cost etc. It means you will pay more high.

-Avoid Fines
Paying bills late and over limit transactions are two popular cause to a fine. The numbers were pretty big.

-Checking Claims
To avoid mistakes in payment, you should regularly check your bills. Save all the receips or evidence of the transactions that you have done.
